This Video highlights the fleet available to 70 Sqn pilots to conduct their operations. 70 Sqn are Equipped with both the C130 Hercules and the C17 Globemaster aircraft. These aircraft allow 70 Sqn to fulfil their main role as the logistic arm of the RAF. The video show cases both aircraft highlighting other roles such as a low level supply drop over an airfield. 70 Sqn are also often called into action fro CASEVAC duties in co-operation with 18 Sqn and Troop movements. the C130 ability to land on rough airfields means 70 Sqn get right into the action.
