Compass Virtual Airlines has been running a Compass Challenge this year where pilots are invited to submit a video or screenshot detailing a landing at a specific airport. This month being december I decided that I would submit a video with a bit of a christmas jive to it. As it happened we got given Kai Tak, the old Hong Kong Airport and it\'s famous checkerboard IGS approach. The end result from me is a combination of FSX and FS9. Departing the FS Dreamteam New York Kennedy for FSX http://www.fsdreamteam.com/ and arriving at the 9dragons Kai Tak scenery for FS9 Kai Tak v2.1 http://www.ausflightsim.net/article611.html PMDG 747-400 both for FS9.1 and FSX. Both the Old and the New Cathay Pacific Livery. Departing J F Kennedy in New York, our aircraft flys the polar route from New York to Hong Kong, encountering the Aurora Borleas enroute and being mysteriously transported back in time by an electrical storm at the North pole. We land finally, triumphantly at Kai Tak.
