- Reason for landing on the right of centerline: I've been getting many messages asking if I am a real pilot. I'm not but I thank you all for the nice compliments! :) I landed on the right of the centerline to outline that I am simply someone who enjoys flying in the simulator and even the ones with a lot of experience makes these kinds of small mistakes.
- Filmed for the first time under Windows Vista on a Dell XPS M1730 gaming laptop.
There are future plans for Glasgow International Airport to add a second parallel runway to the current one: Rwy 05/23. There are also plans to expand with a new rail terminal. The rapid increase in passenger traffic which is currently around 8.8 million is expected to increase to 24 million by 2030. The projects could cost the BAA (British Airports Authority) over £290 million in the following 25 years.
I loved the animated cars in this airport package. There were ground crews which really brought out the life in this airport. Very minimal frame rate loss but a very big improvement in the overall quality. Everything from custom building textures to even 3D runway lighting systems are included. Check this one out, UK2000 Glasgow Xtreme EGPF.
